I took this shot from the Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy. In order to center the gondola in the canal, I had to merge together several photos. The canal was so busy that I couldn’t get the shot I wanted in one photo. Fortunately, the sunset was really nice and it just stopped raining.
This was my second time in Venice, and I forgot how much of a maze it was. It felt like I hit dead ends every couple of minutes and had to turn around. It was still fun wandering through the city though, and there was cool stuff to see all over.
I shot this with my Nikon D810 and Tokina 17-35mm and edited it in Photoshop. You can see my other recent picture from Northern Italy here. Hope you like the results.
